Case Followup
This 2-month follow-up radiograph shows continued maintenance of correct alignment, and "smoothing" of the periosteal callus. The patient-implant constellation would seem to represent an example of the trend toward "biologic" fixation. The dog is now being shown in conformation classes (6 months postoperatively). We plan to remove the implant in the near future.
