Management of Complications

• Test Ease of Correction Apply gentle pressure to the toe, and observe resultant positioning of the fetlock/ pastern region

  

• Radiographs
  Radiographs may be taken to verify improvement in positioning of the digital joints.
• Corrective Shoeing
  When repositioning is readily achieved, corrective shoeing by the application of long lever arms will maintain normalcy.
