Longterm Outcome
- Maintenance of Normal Axis Normal contours and angles of the fetlock/ pastern area are maintained. Corrective shoeing is no longer necessary.
- Resolution of Lameness
By 8 months postoperatively, no lameness is noted and the animal exercises at will at pasture.

- Resolution of Muscle Atrophy
With increasing exercise, symmetric development of musculature can occur.
